PRAISES & PRAYER REQUESTS as of 8-30-2011

PRAISES

* God’s faithfulness and grace in blessing us to be serving Him in Romania.

* Seeing God working in the lives of our children.
* Coleen was a granted a 5 year Residency status (as family of Romanian citizens).

* A full week of good health for all of us.

* Blessing us with opportunities to serve with the handicapped outreaches and Sunday services to Prison Fellowship.

* Lives He is Saving.

* Relationships being built.

* The building He is doing of His church here in Romania, as we seek to build on His foundation and in His steps.

PRAYER REQUESTS

* God’s Spirit to breath through His Word and in Worship on Sunday services, the English Bible study and at Friday Fellowship Nights.

* God’s clear guidance/wisdom in all that we do – not to step to right or left (neither ahead, nor behind).

* God's direction/wisdom in starting up the "English" Bible Study on Thursday nights in our home.  Coleen will teach it from book of John (using the Joyful Life question guide) and JeJe will be translating and directing discussions.

* THE STUDENTS ARE COMING!  September will bring more than 100,000 (yes the number is right) students to Cluj to begin their studies in October (runs until end of June/early July).  Pray for us to have wisdom in reaching them, divine appointments and God to pour out His Spirit.

* For us to be lights and encouragements to the unsaved and the saved:  to be excited about God and having a personal relationship with Him.  Pray specifically for Robi, and Andrei and his siblings, and as JeJe teaches Sunday, Sept. 4th to the Prison Fellowship again.

* Our friends Nicu and Silvana (and their 2 children (Naomi - 14 and Leo - 12) to have wisdom if God would have them move to Cluj.  They currently live in a village one hour outside of Cluj.  we would love to see them serving here with us, but want God's will for them.  They would need to see doors open (or close) if they are to move this way or not.

* Wisdom and love in ministering to the gypsies.

* Salvation for JeJe’s Aunt (Geta) who is coming every 3 weeks for her chemo treatments (she lives a 5 hour bus/6 hour train ride from where we are).  She stays with us for a few days at a time.  Please pray for us to show God’s love to her and for her to receive His .  She is starting to show signs of being open to talk about Him.

*God’s hedge of protection about us.

*Good Health for all of us.

*Coleen’s visa approval.  We are still waiting for the official papers to arrive.  We have been told it may be this week or next.  If approved - it will be a 5 year visa !!!

*God’s will/wisdom in purchasing a car.
