CHRISTMAS JOY TO ROMA GYPSY CHILDREN

Where to begin?  Our hearts are still full and hurting for the Roma gypsy children of this country; children do not get to choose the families they are born into...  We were very blessed to spend a weekend on a Christmas outreach to the village of Silivas (Alba county, Romania).  These children live in homes without roofs or windows, heat is only from getting wood in the forest, no running water, no education, parents are not working (most choose not to).  Sadly, there are many who live like this; in villages all over Romania.
We joined with the ministry with the feeding program and were able to provide hats, scarves and blankets. Each child received a blanket and hat/scarf, along with hats for their parents as well. Please join us in praying that these seeds that were planted will be watered by the Holy Spirit; only Jesus can change hearts and lives.
We will be returning soon with mandarin oranges (a Romanian tradition) and chocolates for Christmas.
We thank our home church for helping make outreaches like this happen.  The womens knitting circle of Stitches of Love provided the hats, scarves and blankets, our Care Team shipped them over, and the love and support of others (but mostly Gods grace) keeps us here.
