NEW CHURCH BUILDING

Our last meeting place did not have heat, and after a "frozen" Sunday where space heaters didnt provide enough heat - we prayed and the first place we looked at (we knew it was the best that was available) was the perfect fit in every way.  It is just steps from the main boulevard (very visible) and even looks like a little church.  It is attached to a larger banquet facility.  We have heat, and a team of people from the church went in right away and built a stage, projection wall, and coffee bar !
We pray that more than anything, peoples hearts would find Jesus in this place and that we would shine them outside of it so that more will want to come to Him.
We will have official dedication dates on December 17 and 24 - please pray for friends and relatives to be drawn to come hear the Gospel and fellowship.
There will be a special Christmas Eve service and we have use of the building 24/7 and can leave our equipment there and entrust its protection to the Lord .  Glory to God.

Elli Serving in India and Cambodia

Elli has had the time of her life ministering to the people of India an Cambodia.

In India, they put on a womens conference for the women in the local church, evangelism in the slum areas  and streets of Mumbai, and been a blessing to the local church there.

In Cambodia, she has been living at Greater Hope Orphanage - where she has formed great relationships with the children there.  The children of the orphanage are very responsible and polite children.  They have daily chores (cook and clean on their own, including their laundry) - which Elli has been helping them with.  There is a private school connected to the orphanage - more than 500 children attend.  Elli has been teaching English, Art, Chapel and Physical Ed., and going on the in home visit for parent/teacher conferences where they share the Gospel with the family - if they are not already Christians.  If they are Christians, they do a Bible Study with them.
She and her team have been working with the youth group and doing discipleship classes with the local church; 7 children made commitments to follow Jesus and were baptized !

She said she absolutely loves it there, but knows her place is back home serving here in Romania.

Women's Fall Fellowship

This gathering we focused on maintaining Thankful hearts; and to be content in Him.

Elli At Bible College - Kauai

This has been the experience of a lifetime.  She has enjoyed serving in the local church (CCLihue) and her classes:  Book of John, Colossians, Missions, Proverbs, Apologetics, and more.  Their teams go out evangelizing each week, she works with the youth group on Wednesday nights and now she looks forward to taking what theyve learned on their 5 week outreach to Asia.  She will be headed to India and Cambodia.

July Blessings...

Baseball, Lightning and more....

The past month proved to be "eventful" in many ways.  The baseball camp was a tremendous blessing, as we saw God move in great ways.  The first boys to walk into camp on Monday morning, were part of the group who had been throwing rocks at windows & animals, as well as vandalizing cars in our neighborhood (they had already broken several of our windows).  They didn't really know who we were; but we knew who they were.  We spent the first day just playing ball and getting to know them.  At the end of the second day, they were surprised when we told them who we are, and that we forgive them and want to help them make something out of their lives; that starts with faith in Jesus.  We enjoyed 4 days of baseball, fellowship and testimonies; with almost all of the kids praying to commit to follow Jesus.  We now have a very good relationship with the boys from the housing projects, and each child received a glove and ball.  As a result, a couple of new families join us for church that following Sunday, including a family of 3 boys is now coming with their mom.  Glory to God!

One afternoon, the last week of July, a bolt of lightning struck over our house (no warning, no rain, just clouds).  It split right above our house, and sent strikes in several directions around our home; one landed on a metal fence that JeJe (along with our dog) was standing directly in front of, with a hammer in his hand.  JeJe had fire flash in front of his face (a burn mark left on his nose) and then the sound "booming" as it traveled away.  Our dog was knocked down on his legs (he weighs about 110 lbs).  JeJe was left disoriented, breathless and felt like all strength was knocked out of him, along with chest pains.  He now feels stronger each day; the side effects he still notices are restless nights of sleep, not as strong physically as he was, and a loss of hearing.  Several electrical devices and appliances are a complete loss. Our neighbors' electric meter spun out of control; reading that they had consumed over $3000USD in one month!  Several eyewitness testified to the bolt splitting over our home and seeing the fire strikes hit the various locations.  We are so thankful for God's mercy; especially that JeJe didn't put his hand on the opening of the metal gate. Best part in this, was the cable man who came to restore our entire system prayed to receive Jesus !  glory to God !

June Blessings

We are thankful for the great way the Lord is working in the new church here.
The church is growing each Sunday and have been given an extra room *(free of charge) to begin a Sunday school for the toddlers during service.
It is a sweet time of fellowship with the body here, and the women are enjoying regular gatherings. JeJe has begun a fundamentals of the faith mid-week study.

Our family had a great month celebrating Elli's 18th birthday and graduation from high school, along with a 4.0 GPA and 1400 on her SAT !!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR ELLI !

Congratulations to our daughter, Elli Grace Jejeran, on graduating high school with a 4.0 GPA and so many great accomplishments.  She has been a blessing to us, since the day she was born, and was an excellent - well disciplined student.  We are so excited that the Lord has blessed her with open doors to attend Calvary Chapel Bible College - Kauai (emphasis in missions) this Fall.
Here a "casual" senior photos that were recently taken. :o)))
