PRAISES
* 7 individuals have prayed to receive Jesus as their Savior!!! Please pray for seeds to deeply take root and fruit to come forth.
* Our "social" meetings this past month with the Cluj Crusaders (they play American style football here and their coach is from Mexico but has also lived in the U.S.) - the Lord is blessing us with a good relationship with them and we pray for it to continue. He is open many doors for us with non-believers and we are thankful.
* The spiritual growth we are seeing in our children's lives; especially as we have weekly family devotions/AGAPE time.
* The fruit we are seeing in the church here and in the evangelisms/outreaches, Bible studies and discipleship.
* A good start to the baseball season, despite the rains, mud, etc. AND the new "exposure" we are being given; thank YOU Lord for opening these doors!
* For the individuals who are desiring/praying to come and help with baseball and discipleship this summer.
* The fruit He is bringing forth from the women's breakfast and His "prompting" to start the "Just Coffee" times.
PRAYER REQUESTS
* For continued wisdom in building the church here. The Lord has raised up a couple of church members who want to "help" and be more involved - prayers needed for them and for more to rise up. Esp. worship, Sunday school, and other leaders/elders.
* Continued spiritual growth/hedge of protection for those who have prayed to receive Jesus; and for salvation for those have not yet prayed.
* To be lead by the Holy Spirit in this years' events/planning.
* Meetings this weekend for the baseball field "plan"; to develop a great plan and have favor with the Mayor's office (to gain a dedicated "free" playing field). Please pray for wisdom for JeJe in directing Baseball Cluj and for blessings on the wonderful volunteers/parents who are getting involved.
* Prayer for the Women's "Just Coffee" gatherings; for Coleen to be lead by the H.S and for all the ladies to grow in Him and His Word.
* Pray for fruit to come from the outreaches we do in the city and student areas. pray for the city of Cluj and hearts to turn to the Lord.
*March 23rd - MARCH FOR LIFE - the churches of Cluj gather together in the city center and will "march" for recognition of life begins at birth. While we are so happy this event is happening. We were saddened at how few people from churches actually marched, considering how many "churches" there are in this city. The "march" is followed by Christian music groups playing.
* The Lord to open doors, according to His purposes and timing for us to have a church building of our own.
* A hedge of protection from the Lord around our family; we know the enemy does not like what we are doing and is always looking for ways to "sneak" in and destroy. Want to keep our guards "up".
* Salvation for JeJe's unsaved family members (esp. his aunt Geta).

MUD, RAIN & BASEBALL - Baseball Cluj Opening Day March 9th
While we had hoped for "Better" weather, we rejoice in the fact that the Lord blessed us with a relatively mild winter and the fact that we were able to get out and play without any snow on the ground. The Lord has also been opening doors for us to gain more publicity. Pray that He would use these to get us more exposure and more kids will come to play.
We ask that you join us in praying for our practice field situation. We will be meeting with our friends from the Cluj Crusaders (American football team here) who we have been sharing the field with, and enjoy a good relationship with. We will gather this Saturday to review field "plans" as the Mayor's plans for our current field are to keep it a sports field but his current plan for changes will alter our use of the field (and the football teams as well). Pray for wisdom, pray for open doors/favor with the Mayor's office, and pray for the Lord to continue to shine through us as doors open for us with relationships within our community.
THIS SUMMER: Please pray for the trainers/coaches that are praying to come over this summer to help us train. Pray for the Lord to direct their steps, build them up and to provide all their needs (physical, financial, spiritual and emotional). Thank you for keeping this baseball outreach in prayer!

WOMEN'S BREAKFAST - CELEBRATING SPRING & WOMEN
March 1st is called "martisor" (martz-ee-shor) here in Romania and we celebrate the coming of Spring and women are given little token gifts (flowers, trinkets with a symbol of Spring (a ladybug, flower, etc.), and then on March 8th is the Women's Day. The tradition for this is to give flowers, gifts (chocolates, perfume, etc.) to the ladies and even the men will go door to door and ring the door bells of ladies they know, so that they can spray them with various perfumes (not my favorite item; too many fragrances give me a headache).
But it is the thoughtfulness and the tradition that make these days special.
This was the 2nd time we opened our home for Women's Breakfast and we had about 28 ladies come. We enjoyed good food (cinnamon rolls and egg souffle were big hits), fellowship and a devotional time talking about "seasons" of change that life brings, and how we can build our faith in Jesus to be strong for when storms come.
We thank the Lord for this special time and ask that you keep the ladies in prayer; may the women of Romania grow in their faith, and be strong in it for the raising of our children, in our community and churches and for the Glory of the Lord.
