ORPHANAGE

 The past 6 months have provided many opportunities for us to minister at the orphanage, and for Elli to be there ministering to just the girls and small children on her own at times. Elli is now leading this ministry under our supervision and she is doing a fantastic job.

In addition, we have been more intentionally focused on ministering to them away from the orphanage with outings - walks around the Alba Iulia fortress, a trip to get a meal, etc. It provides for more one on one ministry opportunities and helps us connect better to them individually.

The past 6 months, 4 new children have been added.

Eva - now 14 has adjusted well - despite having been exposed to a lot of trauma. 

Iosif - 11 - has adapted very well and his grades have been improving. pray for him, as he has a hard time NOT finding trouble ;oP

Petre - 11 - Rejected by 2 adoptive families - is doing well despite the emotional damage he has had. He is very kind and well behaved.

Andrei - 12 - Lived in an environment without proper conditions as he suffers from seizures and has Asperger's. Prayers for him to adapt well. The orphanage is short staffed and he requires high supervision.

PLEASE keep in prayer each child's heart - that the love of Jesus would penetrate and sink deeply in. That seeds planted would receive the right water and food of the Word to help them grow.

CHILDREN ARE A GIFT FROM THE LORD Psalm 127 (ours and those we minister to)

Words cannot express the gratitude in our hearts as we watch Elli minister to so many of the children in Romania. She has been/is so faithful in her service to the Lord, and to children of every age group. Little to Big - she prepares lessons, crafts, games - and cares about reaching hearts for Jesus.

She has been ministering to several churches as well as regularly at the orphanage. Teaching them about Jesus and doing practical life things like cooking. She often is on her own now as we have had a flood gate of ministry happening in our new area - requiring all of us to be in different places at times. Other times, we are together - and she is ministering to the children while JeJe and I minister to adults.

What a gift she is. Please join us in praying for her - to be able to maintain stamina in serving, we know she always wants God's wisdom and asks for that - being totally surrendered to His will, for his continued favor and blessing on her as she is a sweet fragrance of Jesus wherever she goes.

Thankful for all the speaking opportunities, allowing us to share the TRUTH of God's written Word.

JeJe is the main speaker of church services - approx. 7 churches ministering to.

JeJe and Coleen share together at Married and Youth events.

Please keep us in prayer as we are (unfortunately) often confronted with false teachers, who preach a different Gospel and NOT the Word of Jesus Christ. We trust His Truth to stand as we follow His leading us where He wants us to speak for Him.
