ORPHANAGE CHRISTMAS OUTREACH

One of our favorite things in being Ambassadors for Jesus Christ is the blessing of watching Him do amazing works and provide in the most amazing ways.  This year was a repeat of His faithfulness.  2020 was tough on everyone; including our friends at Casa Sanctuary orphanage. Since March, the staff was tested for COVID every 2 weeks. They were not allowed to receive outside guests until the Fall, when it was with very specific guidelines.  The day after our visit in the Fall, several of the staff and children tested positive and had to go back into isolation for 3 weeks.  

We are so thankful for the faithfulness of the workers; they are truly gifted in their love for children.  

Children in Romania have been doing school online all these months, and the staff makes sure each child is online with his/her teacher and they help the children with their lessons.

This year, they weren't certain they would have finances for gifts for the children.  The "shoebox" distributors also were not able to commit boxes to them for this year.

Then God stepped in....

Through financial help of a dear Romanian sister (residing in the U.S.) plus finances from the church here in Petrosani - we were able to provide a Jesus filled day.  We were able to provide a gift and chocolate to each child, do a special "ginger bread" craft with the small children, paint wood Christmas ornaments with the big girls, and do Christmas cookie decorating with everyone - the boys chose to partake in the eating of the cookies ;o)))   In addition, each of the 11 staff members was given a gift as well.  They were truly overjoyed and thankful.  We love sharing that Jesus is the One Who was/is faithful.  The staff is all part of a church that oversees the orphanage; our prayers are that the children will come to love Him, as a result of the love He has for them!
