I really don't like having to start with an apology - but we
do apologize for not having written in a bit - we have just been SUPER BUSY
(and it is all good but VERY busy).
Any free time, we have had, is spent as a family or catching up on necessary church business stuff and making sure our time with the Lord is first.
We will get a better update (with photos) on in a few weeks (or before if possible) when the season of teams settles down.
That said, WE NEED PRAYERS !!! and have lots to GIVE PRAISE for !!!
Let's start with the "Thanksgivings":
PRAISES
*For the CCEA team of 21 who served here for almost two
weeks. They did an awesome job at
evangelism outreaches and being lights for Jesus in Cluj. They really made HIM known and we praise God
for His divine intervention in getting necessary permits in place, and all He
did to bring them here. We have missed
them since they have left.
*Many seeds were planted and rejoice at the approx. 25+
individuals who prayed to receive Jesus as their Lord & Savior.
*For the CCEA 6 who have been here helping these past couple
weeks after the bigger group left. They
have been doing park evangelisms, teaming with our friends at YWAM for the
sports camps and helping out wherever needed.
*More than 70 children at baseball camp this week. It has been an amazing and awesome time. We are at the mid-way point and pray for much
fruit to continue from this.
*The fruit we see in our children's lives and what a
blessing it is to have them serve with us - they just fit into their own places
without being asked and step up in service - our hearts are overjoyed.
PRAYER REQUESTS
*Fruit to come forth from the baseball camp this week. Also for the workers to be
energized in the Lord and stay strong in Him - it is a
tiring week but so very joyous.
We have the coach from Northwestern Christian
University
*The many seeds planted from evangelism to take deep root
and bring forth fruit.
* ELECTION DAY July 29th - PRAY for God's will as the
Romanian people vote whether to impeach the current President (Basescu) or
replace him. He hasn't been perfect but
has lead in many good ways, unfortunately he has been strong against those in
the government who are corrupt and they are making this move to impeach him. Many of those involved are pro-socialism (and
have ties to the old communist group here).
*The Summer 6 (here until Aug. 4) - for God to work in them
and thru them. Safe travels when they
return to U.S.
*CCYork (England
*Us to be salt and light in this city and amongst the
Romanian people, as well as in the lives of one another.
*Continued boldness to preach the Gospel and the Truth.
*Outreach planned to Christian Children's Home in Ocna Mures
on Friday July 27 - that we would be a sweet aroma to Jesus to His orphaned
children there - they are not orphans with Him !!!
*Wisdom and love as we follow the Lord in His building of
His church here in Cluj.
* *Servants to come along side of us. We need "servants" who want to come
serve the Romanian people. Specifically,
we need one or two guys who could come for a while (couple years) and help us
train Romanians in baseball skills and
who want to help in the church here with outreaches, worship, wherever God
leads. We have a shared vision with YWAM
to see little league here in Cluj and they have several who want to help but
need on-going training.
*Spiritual hedge of protection about our family and the
ministry here.
*Good health !!!
Our family cannot express enough gratitude for your prayers,

to be here serving Him and know He is going to do great things for Romania
