Children's Center Christmas Outreach - a Job Well Done, Elli !

This years Christmas Outreach to the local Children's after school center was a very special time. We thank the Lord for the open door here and the favor He has put on Elli in this ministry. She puts together the activities, games/prizes, Bible activities, treats and more. Both the children and staff are ministered too. It was made even sweeter, when she returned a few weeks later for one of her regular times there and most of the children remembered the Bible verse: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son; that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have life everlasting" John 3:16

Women's Christmas Dessert

What a precious evening we had with these sweet women at this years Women's Christmas Dessert. It was a private event this year in our home, as the Lord directed our hearts to encourage a select group in their intimate relationships with Jesus, through Making "Christ's Home, My Heart" a focus of this years devotional. With all the buysness the world throws at us, the greatest thing we can do each day is spend time sitting at His feet. The world missed that first Christmas....lets celebrate Christ's leaving Heaven for us, every day with time spent with Him.

Christmas Cookie Outreach

The Lord has definitely used this Christmas outreach in our community. Each year Elli and Coleen bake Christmas Sugar cookies, using Coleen's Grandmothers recipe (both the cookies and icing are a well kept family recipe). In addition, our care team has send us several other "American" baking ingredients that cannot be found in Romania - but allow us to bless many in our community with a homemade platter of love that includes a Bible verse card. The responses over the years have been very "sweet" indeed.
